Isabel AlvarezIsabel was born in Asturias in the north of Spain. She began Rhythmic Gymnastics at age 7 and retired from competitions at the age of 18. She was trained by Natalia Onopko, elite ex-gymnast from the Ukraine. Isabel won different national and international competitions, as well as local awards like the “City of Oviedo” prize for best all-around athlete. Isabel began coaching in 2003 at the age of 17 while still competing as a gymnast. She worked with gymnasts belonging to the Spanish National Team. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity & Sport, as well as a Master’s degree in Innovation, Evaluation & Quality in Physical Education from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in Spain.

Isabel is a Safety and Instructor certified professional member of United States Gymnastics Association.
