Zlatena Kisyova Zlatena Kisyova began her career in rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 5 and spent the next 10 years as an athlete under the coaching of the 1989 World champion Filipa Filipova. Zlatena became a national champion in 2000, 2001 2002 and was a national athlete representing Bulgaria in the period 2000-2002. During her 10 year athletic career, she won more than 50 medals, 70 awards and numerous individual prizes from international and national competitions. For the last 3 years was coaching young gymnasts from Portugal, Egypt, Israel, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Estonia, Brazil, Chile and Bulgaria. As a coach in Bulgaria she was working with one of the best gymnasts in Bulgaria who now take a part in Grand Prix and World Cups. Zlatena graduated National Sports Academy in Bulgaria. She won an award to study through an exchange program at the University of Sports Science in Lleida, Spain 2010-2011. Zlatena’s passion is to coach and inspire young children in the pursuit of athletic excellence.
